Stacyville Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) was formed in 2000 to promote the general welfare and prosperity of the Stacyville business community and residents. Particular emphasis is given to the economic, commercial, cultural, civic, industrial, and educational interests of the area. Five citizens partipate on the SEDC board. Industrial Park
The new industrial park is located on the north end of town between Monument and March Avenues. Thirteen lots range from 1 to 6.1 acres, on a total of 35 acres. There is an option of 75 additional acres. Infrastructure includes a new concrete access road, water, electric, and sewer utilities. Three lots have rail service. Financial incentives are available.
