Memory Museum

 

Plan a visit to the fascinating Stacyville Memory Museum, located in the Community Center (the old Visitation School building). Inside you'll find historical photographs, memorabilia, quilts, history books and atlases, and old farm and home implements that reveal community life in earlier days. Available for research are 95 years worth of community newspapers, plus City Council minutes from 1900 on.

Riverside Park

 

 

 

 

Beautiful Riverside Park, located along the banks of the Little Cedar River at the east side of town, provides many facilities for your camping, fishing and boating enjoyment. Walking distance to local grocery stores and businesses.

    Single night, no electric $8, with electric $12. Pay 6 nights, 7th night FREE.

City Park

Located on Broad Street just south of the commercial core, the City Park welcomes you for your family picnic, class reunion, or just "a day in the park."

The site of community celebrations like the annual Bratwurst Daze, it is a gathering place with all the amenities--playground equipment for the kids, picnic tables and benches, two covered shelters with power and water, public restrooms, wading pool, and tennis courts.

For information on use and to reserve a shelter, contact City Hall at 641-737-2428. There is no cost for reserving the shelters.
