Brat Trot
The Brat Trot prides itself on hometown. We are a casual bunch, and know how to appreciate a good walk – about to kick off a weekend. Meet friends old and new, young and younger, happy and happier; just don’t expect a race number and a medal. Your reward is a Brat (with or without sauerkraut) and maybe a beer or two.

The Stacyville Brat Trot is a 4.2 Mile Fun Run/Walk/Trot around the outskirts of Stacyville, Iowa, Kicking off the Town’s Annual Bratwurst Daze Celebration. Each year, 100% of the proceeds from the Brat Trot are donated to a community driven effort in the town of Stacyville.
The Finish Line and time is kept by a real Stacyville Grandma, so don’t expect your personal record to the .001, but rather a “Looking Good” and a “You beat the outta towner!!”
It’s the best day of the summer. And the best small town in the U.S.A Come see why.
